Thinking about getting my motor over hauled. Wanted some input from someone who has had it done.

what do you need to know ?

Overhaul as in new gasket , Headgasket ?
this is just an example

of a gasket kit or you get it from the dealership would I would also recommend but a bit more expensive,

You can call DaveB at SouthPoint Nissan for a discount as a .org memeber

well all i did on my engine was have the timing chain parts replaced (one of the plastics that held it in place broke a tensioner no longer workd), put a new clutch in, redid the tranny( a Piece in the bell housing broke off when the clutches bearing broke while driving it was not a pleasant experience), had 2 motor mounts replaced, 2 oxygen sensors replaced, replaced left control arm and sway link as well as left tie-rod end, o yea i had to get a new bell housing because if i welded it it wasnt guarenteed to last

I was getting my engine completely rebuilt. Everything was being changed out. It was going to cost $1800. I have lifter noise that is not normal and my engine performs well but does not sound well at startup...
