Fitting '04 HID Components To '04 Halogen Assembly... HELP!!!

My HID headlamp assemblies on my 2004 Maxima are SO CLOUDY!!! It's time for a new set, I've tried all of the tricks to fix this problem... they are hazing inside and they are just plain beaten and scratched up. I want to buy a BRAND NEW set of headlamps but I can only find Halogen replacements at a decent price... so here's the question:

"Is it possible to buy 2004 Halogen headlamp assemblies, take out all of the internal components and then replace them with my current HID components (projector assemblies, lamps, module, etc.)???"

Please, anyone with EXPERIENCE in performing this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

This will involve you actually baking and taking your headlights apart. You will have to do this correctly and have a proper seal when this project is completed. Otherwise, this can lead to future condensation and fogging. If you are ready to take the risks than let me know.....

I did this on my last set (first time performing this) and had just that... condensation inside the lamp. Now when I pressure wash it water gets in and its just a big mess. I want a brand new set anyway for other mods so I am totally up to the challenge. PLEASE any info you got let me know.
