Flashing air bag light after replacing passenger seat?

I disconnected the battery before I plugged the seat back in.
Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before plugging in the connectors?

What do you guys think I should do?

You need to reset it manually

Unplug the plug under the seat. Wait a few minutes and plug it back in.

Should reset itself assuming you had it plugged in when you reattached the battery cable.

So with the battery connected, unplug the connector and wait a few minutes, then plug it back in?

Leather seat upgrade

Hi, this is off-topic, but I could have run into the airbag issue when doing this.

I have an opportunity to buy a full front-back-console leather set for my '05, which currently has cloth. My question has to do with the wiring. As my current front passenger seat is manual, it has not power harness other than for the airbag stuff in the seat, I'm guessing there is an additional plug for the power seat and/or heat switches? Does anyone know if the existing harness is wired for a power passenger seat, but just not connected to anything? Same question for the front console seat heater switches.

If anyone has done a factory leather swap, let me know what to expect wiring-wise. Thanks in advance.
