Resonator assistance please

I currently have a Fujita CAI, Racingline's Y-pipe, NWP VIAS block off plate, NWP phenolic intake spacers, awaiting Cattman's ceramic coated mufflers (dual tips) and I removed the OEM resonator. I do not want the high pitch (ricer) exhaust sound when it's all said and done. Will this resonator work to help keep the high pitch down upon acceleration and to also reduce the drone inside the car?

I listened to a few sound clips from nismo and apollo. I like the sound of power the exhaust is given as it drives by though I am not keen on the single tip exhaust. I am going for the sleeper (by way of horsepower) look. I also want that low rumble deep sound at idle. Any assistance or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I think it is a 22 inch magnaflow which does a really nice job. I actually put 2 on because of the drone. They are straight through design.

I agree with the post above. I chopped the ressinator put a strait pipe through and then two magnaflow highflows with dual tips. Also I have the raceing line y-pipe, the drone going up a hill is pretty loud but other than that the exaust is very deep and sounds absolutly nothing like a ricer.

I too have the 22" Magnaflow res and the drone is all but gone...on another not if you are going for the sleeper sound, I put my stock intake in for a smog test and I almost prefer the quieter/deeper sound. Sounds more like a G or FX. If you think you'll really miss the "gains" with an intake then leave but just sayin' (BTW I'll probably end up putting mine back in eventually )
