I am a victim of the ABS module and it needs to be replaced. The dealer wants $1,800 for the unit itself and then installation. I know lots of people have had them replaced, but was the unit always ordered through your dealers? Has anyone purchased theirs from any other company?
I know you have to be careful to purchase a very specific one ( know the serial number ) depending on the features in your car. I need 47660-8Y068

If there's a chance you're still under warranty, push the issue that this is a powertrain problem. If you're no longer under warranty, I guess your best chance is to find a used module at a junk yard, and have a mechanic do the fix.
