Differences between 04 - 08 brake rotors

Wondering if there any differences in the rotors between 2004 - 2008 6th gens ? When looking at the group buy for RTP rotors they say they only fit 04-06, what happened 07-08 that changed ?

If this is a complete noob ques i apologize in advance, 6th gen BBK first timer.

My 07 is going to need brakes soon. What should I get? brakepreformance.com has great prices but can I trust them. Are EBC red stuff any good?

sorry to hijack this thread but I do not have my 15 post yet

To be honest, it depends on your taste.

Top line:
Brembo, power slots, ECB, etc they all are great stuff but some of them are over priced......just way much over priced.

Middle line (inch closer to top line):
Centric premium....they are the best and original rotors for power slots and other top of the line rotors.

Affordable line:
R1 concept, rotorpros etc....they are well worth for budget rotors and works very well.

I picked-up R1 concept zinc plated slotted rotors plus centric premium ceramic pads for $180 shipped from ebay. Great rotors and can't beat that price.

About brake pads.....you just have to read many reviews.

Edit:
I had power slots with hawk ceramic and they lasted the same as my second set of rotorpros with akobono ceramics. I was trying to get my 3rd set as centric premium slotted but then this R1 concept deal was just too good to let go. One thing I leaned with rotors/pads replacement is that get an average rotors but get the best pads you can.
