BRAKE PERFORMACE

Has anyone purchased brakes from Brake Performance, are they good?
My front discs are warped badly and I saw a good deal @ BP Slotted discs & premiun semi-metallic pads for $180.00 free shipping..

Thanks for your input.

I don't have any experience with those but IMO, I wouldn't go cheap on rotors/brakes. You get what you pay for, anyways. I would highly recommend these:

Great rotors for the price and there are a lot of members that have these. They also got slotted rotors if you request them. That's what I have in addition to Wagner thermo-quiet ceramic pads.

Other options for brake pads:

1. Axxis/PBR: http://forums.maxima.org/group-deals...luxe-plus.html

2. Hawks: http://forums.maxima.org/group-deals...-free-s-h.html

3. EBC green/yellow/red stuff

This! You NEVER go cheap on something as important as BRAKES

I've used both EBC Red Stuff and Hawk on and off the track and both are pretty equal in performance. EBC Red Stuff did however produce less brake dust! Currently using Hawks though because EBC doesn't make pads for Wilwood BBKs

Finally got around to replace my front pad/ rotors, I ordered the Power Slots and Hawk HPS from Tire Rack. Brakes feel good, no vib. Now I need to get the front struts installed.

I went cheap on brakes. Including paint, around $150 total for all four wheels....pads and rotors.
