GREAT, another problem. Need help

Ok i got my car back yesterday from nissan after they installed my new CVT. when i picked it up the guy told me i needed an air fuel ratio sensor. he said out the door for 5 and change. i know the basics of cars but i have no idea if this price is high (i would assume it is because its a nissan service center) or if its good or whatever. also looking at a picture of it online it looks to me like its something that just clips in???? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!

The air fuel ratio sensor is located in the exhaust manifold before the pre-cats. The front one would probably be easier than the rear. The rear would be a pain in the *** i think.

Check eBay for new ones and If you can't find an oem one then is find friend at a dealer ship that has a hook up

Also it didn't fix the problem.still have the cel on for lean.my mechanic says it might be my precats or as it it stated on his code reader it needs a reflash after installing sensor.he showed it to me and Ive never heard of a car needing a reflash just for installing a sensor.

Do you get the code for lean A/F mixture from both banks or just one particular bank? I had same issue, but only in bank 2. New O2 sensor solved my problem. I got the bosh one from autozone for 95 bucks. Its pretty much identical to the OEM one.

How do you remove the Bank 2 sensor 1 on the 2004 maxima? I can see the sensor just have no idea how to get to it. Getting DTC P1238 as well A/F Lean Mixture
