I live in ny, theres a place called crash n rust where i bought all 08 parts except for the hood, which i had no choice but to get it from the dealer because they didnt make it aftermarket.

what a beautiful makeover. did you paint the roof or did you use vinyl? if you painted it, how much was it and where did you get it done. how much in 6.5 parts? you basically did EVERYTHING ive wanted to do to my silver 04. Thanks for the info.

Not a big fan of the 6.5 spoiler, but the conversion looks great. Have you looked into the 6.5 sides?

Very nice you got rid of your 2 projectors on your headlights, thats the only thing i am not going to do, but i will do all the other things you did my car in the shop right now getting painted the same way top black, all around KY1 (silver), only thing is that i got the Zk1 bumper and lip wich is the same as the 6.5 just that i get to keep my headlights and grill, great look man farril.

P.S i see you paint the strip black +10 on that i dont know why people dont do this more they all trying to make the chrome better instead of just painting it black , i will do the same with mines paint it black as well good look.

They are not much different then the 6th gens. I would rather get aftermarket then go through all that trouble.

Maybe to you, but to me the 6.5 sideskirts look way better. It might be subtle, but the 6.5 ones have a lot more dimension and are more visible. If he isn't getting a front lip, then I don't think any of the aftermarket sideskirts available would look right as they're all too aggressive. I don't know if the OEM ones are easily interchangeable, so that's why I asked if he looked into them.

Real nice man. Like how you did the whole conversion. The roof is a very nice touch and the rims are a good choice as well.

Seen you did the conversion too. It's clean man, like how the headlights flow with everything else you got on there.

I think the output is great, they're 12k on top and 3k on bottom. I just have to adjust the projectors to make them even and have the purple-ish tint

Damn, guess it's been a while since I seen the front of your ride. EDIT: I meant the 07 hood you got now. Didn't remember seeing that before.

I visited the spot yesterday after seeing ur post, but what parts did u have to change for the full conversion. And where did u buy the hood cause u said u got it somewhere else. I seen it for about 450 for hood, is that good. I really wanna know the parts u brought. Don't wanna buy unecessary parts. Thanks
