not a noob but ya its another 3.5 altima ebay header thread

*I have a 5 spd transmission*

sorry for another ebay header thread but i recently just pulled a P0420 code. Ebay headers seem like my best option right now so from looking at past threads i noticed:

1. I need to get the 3 piece kit instead of the 4
2. Shave the starter a little bit

Is there anything else i missed concerning the basic part and installation process?

Another thing concerning the o2 sensors is from what i noticed nobody has any o2 simulators anymore. so looking around somebody mentioned that we can use the 350z o2 wires since there longer. is that true and will it work properly? Also would the brand make a difference? I seen OBX headers and then some random generic brands.

Thanks in advance for the help and if i missed anything feel free to let me know.

Get the Racingline high flow cats. Just as good as headers, and a way easier install.

Eww, hell no. They are worthless. Not as good as headers, how do you figure? You trade one restriction for one less restriction, headers are open.

there are plenty dyno charts of the racing line hfpc giving a gain for 15+ hp 17 torque, which is about what your going to get with some headers

are they as good as headers? who actually has the time and ability to test it to know the answer.

are they worthless? NO
