Story: My Neice Has Passed Away..

R.I.P. Lylah Phi Ngoc Le Nguyen..
08.29.2011 - 08.31.2011

My Neice, Lylah Phi Ngoc Le Nguyen has recently passed away.. Shes was a premature baby and was diagnosed with Trisomy 13.. Trisomy 13 (also called Patau syndrome) is a genetic disorder in which a person has three copies of genetic material from chromosome 13, instead of the usual two copies. Rarely, the extra material may be attached to another chromosome (translocation).

The syndrome involves multiple abnormalities, many of which are not compatible with life. Many only survive outside their mothers womb a few short minutes, hours or days. While others can go home and survive months or years. Sadly, many of the children with Trisomy13 (Patau Syndrome) do not reach their first birthday. Complications begin almost immediately. Most infants with Trisomy 13 have congenital heart disease. Complications may include: Breathing difficulty or lack of breathing (apnea), Deafness, Feeding problems, Heart failure, Seizures, Vision problems..

R.I.P. Phi Ngoc Le A.K.A. "Philly"
11.26.1981 - 07.22.2011

As some of you may also know, I also lost my brother to a tragic swimming accident on 07.22.2011.. Phi Ngoc Le "Philly".. This is going to be the second death to deal with for me and my family in a time span of a little over a month..

I read about your brother about a month ago and now this?! I'm so sorry to hear about your loses. That is a very bad string of luck for your family. Stay strong. I know things seem tough right now but if family sticks together they can pull through anything. Take care buddy.

I'm really sorry about your niece bro. I really wanna give my deepest condolences to you and your family. It's hard reading this since you just lost your brother not to long ago. They're in a better place right now with God and enjoying the fruits of paradise in Heaven.

Hope that yall can overcome these tragic events and eventually get stronger through time. The pain will always be there but, it won't hurt as much after a long while. The best that can be done is to live life in memory of them and to make them proud in the future.

I would like to thank all who are showing support for my family and I.. As you know reading this thread I have posted, my family and I are going through some rough, very rough times.. Believe it or not but it does help ease a little bit of the pain when you read posts of support from total strangers..

The support on this thread should really be going out to my little sister "Lynn" who's pain is hurting the most but none the less the entire family.. I gave her my username and pw so she can read all these support threads from all ya'll big hearted friends.. So if you could please remember to add her name and let her know that she is being supported by the Maxima.Org family.. I know that would mean a lot to her..

As a lot of ya'll may know, I'm trying to get a "End of Summer 11 Max Meet" together and I'm pretty sure my sister will also be attending.. For those who can make it, it would mean the world to actually meet ya'll in person and to say thank you face to face.. Please try to make it.. Again, it would mean the world to my sister "Lynn" and I..
