07 headlamp MOD, 2.0 !! WITH PICS!!

Updated thread 1/8/2012...

Well fellas, im at it again, i got the customization bug. So this time it will be the headlamps. I have already pulled out the passenger side, drilled holes for my 14 LED'S, and not im priming the first assembly.

For the power on circuit, i have integrated an IC so that when i apply power from the "ON" circuit, the LEDS will light up in sequential order, giving it that dee.signs look. I feel it will be pretty cool once i get the whole thing set up and put back together.

Really nothing to it, just a little patience and a little know how and trial and error. I have already done a couple things twice. But thats the game.

I have, and will continue to post pics since there is an intrest...

I got the headlights installed, and connected to the cabin fuse panel. I will post a pic or two of it tomorrow, when the sun is out. Here are a few Pics of the LEDS. No video yet, but it will come shortly.

That was pretty creative man. I did the inner CCFL halo's and I stopped there. I might try to find an audi style led and see if I can customize it for a more unique look. This isn't even headlights, just 4 CCFL halo rings and an audi style LED light.

come spring i am going to improve on the dee.sign. I am swapping the 3mm LEDs out for 5mm. Also the 5mm will have a 180 degree field. I think the 3mm i have in there are only 30 degree field. I should get a quick vid up, but it is 12 degrees out.

It looks sick but i'm scared to put LED's because I fair one might blow and i'd have to open up the whole headlight to change one piece. I have moisture issues that shorted out my ballast few months back. I wish I didn't get rid of the spare headlight I had so I could of used it as a prototype.

I was thinking like a audi style LED becuase all i've seen is the flexible LED strips and CCFL halo rings. I want to try something that hasn't been done yet

WOW!!! Ghozt, that is awesome man. I wish some of you guys lived around here in Texas. I would drive to you to do some of these mods. I like the halos. I would like something like that on mine. Ghozt, do you ever come to Texas?

this is nothing the OP i'm sure isn't capable of, sorry wasnt tryin to jack your thread. I'm really impressed by his integrated circuit and sequential lighting, that is DOPE and I would love to see a video of them lighting up.

i have a youtube vid with my headlights in action if you wanna see it (prior to the dual halo). links in my signature up above
