Roof strip question

I just bought an 07 Maxima. It needs some paint work. I wanted to ask my fellow org members your opinion.Should color match those stips to the car color ? Go black? Or try to restore the chrome?Since im doing that the same question applies to the back bumper area as well.

I would go black; a nice neutral option that shouldn't fade like the chrome.

Either paint black or get the blackout tape to see how it's going to look prior to painting if you like...

I'd go with black.

make them black. try to do it on the car tho, the strips are very fragile and if your impatient like me trying to wrestle off 4+ years of dirt and dust between the clips the strips can bend or dent very easily... i took my strips off because i though it would be easier, it was a pain in the ***, if i ever repaint im doing it on the car.

I would paint them. I polished the **** out of mine and made them look new again then put wax on them and they started fading again after about a month. I have the pebble beach color and it blends in sort of. When I get the front end repainted I'm gona have the roof strips painted too.
