severe tire wear (drivers side rear)

Hey guys, just ordered a new set of front and rear Monroe struts. I got them from Amazon.com shipped for $222. Is that a decent deal?

I"m lowered on Eibach springs. I hope new struts are the answer. I've now completely ruined two 20inch rear drivers side tires.

The drivers side rear is the only one giving me problems. The tire is wearing the inside really badly and also its causing "ballooning" on the inside wall of the tire so badly that its loosing air slowly every couple of days. When you hold your hand on the edge of the tire and roll it so you are feeling the edge and the sidewall its so bad it feels like the tire has golf ball size bubbles in it.

Would my Eibach springs cause this problem? I would not think an alignment issue would be causing this? I could be wrong though, which is the reason i'm here.

1. bubbles on the sidewall are from impact damage.
2. Monroe struts (of any type for any car) are JUNK. Sorry, but that's what they are. Especially when lowered, you need stiffer struts than stock, not softer.
3. you likely have an alignment issue as well since it's the left rear, but I would look at where you're driving and what you're driving over. 20" rims require tires with pretty short sidewalls on these cars, which means there's very little to protect the rim (and sidewall) from damage since there's very little tire to deflect from impacts.

Hi there, just found out that my rear alignment adjustments has reached its maximum..
can no longer align my left rear...I had the rear spring coils and shocks replaced which gave me two alignments, about 5k miles, (expensive alignment $500.00), the right still has room for adjustment...I have 147,000 miles on my 2004 maxima...
Any suggestions would be appreciated

You NEED the 350z camber kit for the rear. Completely resolved my alignment issues.
