2004 Maxima - Bose System not working. Popping Noise and Interference

Hi everybody; I’m looking for some help with my audio problem.
I have a 2004 Maxima SE with the Bose 6 CD changer package; all stock no modifications.
A while back the audio system started acting up. Sometimes when I turned the car on I would hear a popping noise and interference from my back speakers. Sometimes I would turn on the car and I wouldn’t get any sound from the audio system (The display screen still worked but there was no sound no matter if I was trying to listen to the radio, CD, tape etc). However, the next day when I would turn on my car the audio system would start working again. I would keep getting the popping noise and interference every time I turned on the car; this would last for a 1-2 mins and stop.
Eventually all of the speakers/subs in the back stopped working at the same time. So, only the front speakers would work. Now the front speakers are not working either. I still get the popping noise and interference. I’m also getting a buzzing noise from the speakers whenever the car is on. It’s pretty annoying driving the car right now. Lol
Has anybody experienced this? If so, any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

A new problem with this system? Ive only heard of chronic skipping of the CD player which rendered mine useless at 30k miles and again after it was replaced. The system is hopeless IMO, id just go aftermarket if I still had the car.

Never heard that one. My advice would be to replace it with aftermarket. These are decent stock systems but the don't last. I had the same one eventually it died.

Did you search it in this forum? I want to say that a similar issue was discussed a couple of years back in a different thread....

Hey guys... I took it to the Nissan dealership and they took a quick look at it for me.

The AMP in the trunk is dead. Nissan wanted $900 for a new amp but the service guy suggested calling some salvage yards. I found one that has a 2004 Maxima with the bose AMP for $75.

I'm picking up the amp Monday and will swap it and hope it works.

$900 wow but why am I not surprised. Congrats on finding one. I still have mine if you have problems. I'd sell it. (Not for $900 crazy Nissan)
