Questions on some required maintenance (door locks, window, trunk..)
Hello everyone,
I recently became a proud '04 Maxima owner, however, I have some questions regarding fixing up some small issues of my car.
1. The front doors don't unlock with the remote or with the power function in the car. What is the problem here, I'm assuming the actuators need to be replaced? I can see the locks twitch slightly when trying to lock/unlock them with the power function.
2. The passenger side driver window rolls down slightly when rolling it up with the auto function. The only way to roll it up is if I roll it up manually (not using the auto feature). What is the issue here? Does it need to be adjusted somehow? To me it seems like the safety mechanism is kicking in for whatever reason.
I'm trying to do this maintenance myself where I can so just looking for some ideas of what parts are needed etc..
Thanks!

Well the locks is the actuators that are out and the window try the passenger switch to see if there is any play if it is then try replacing.g that if not then maybe ur regulator is out. But when the window falls u should try pulling the window up with your hand and see if there is any play if there is than that means the gears on either the window motor or the regulator

Seems all it needed was a reset
I think I'll go ahead and get a couple actuators and fix this this weekend, shouldn't be too much more work considering I had the door panel off tonight already.

Ordered the parts from local Nissan. Was $220.44 CDN for both of the front ones. Will be here Wednesday
Honestly it's really easy to fix, shouldn't take more than an hour total.

i have the same problem with the lock barely moving especially when the temperature is hot. I thought a lub will solve the problem but seems not...
so i would also need to replace the said actuators.
my question is are they easy to install?
are they these? :
