Engine/Trans Question
Engine/Trans Question
Hello All,
I am stuck and I hope you guys have a answer for me. Of course the SES light is on and I took it to Autozone and the guy says I need a camshaft sensor replaced. Let me backtrack first, the car starts hard meaning its cranking strong but I have to step on the pedal for it turn over. When I place in DRIVE the trans pulls really slow until I guess the RPMS get to speed for gear 5 to engage and then it drives normal. So I have no real power till the car gets to speed for gear 5. Back to the autozone SES check. I changed the sensor for bank 1 ( 1,3,5) with a Duralast brand. That is the one in the rear of the engine (driver side) right? Should I change crankshaft sensor? If so where is that one located? Or should I change the sensor for bank 2 also? I know I am all over the place with this thread but I kno one of you will put me on track LOL
