Hi all. Need a new mirror for a friend's 04 Maxima. I found a junkyard 05 mirror, same color so EZ swap...only issue is the 05 has 13 wires and the 04 has 11 wires. plug ends are the same and they both show as remote, heated power folding, memory mirrors. Part # for the 04 is 96301ZA30E and the 05 is 9630112K35E.

I've talked to parts and service guys at 3 different shops and no one can tell me if the 05 will actually work. Anyone have an opinion?

Anti-dazzling feature. Outside mirrors dim with the inside mirror. Best guess...Are the wires Green/White and Orange/Lavender? That is what color wires it would be on a 6.5gen.

 

I have a 2005 looking for mirror, and now I know that the 2004 and 2005 are different.
Does anyone know if the 2006 (or 2007/8) has 13 wires as well?
Looking at car-part.com I keep seeing 11 wires, but never 13.

 

If you are looking for the auto dim mirror they are harder to find. I am surprised that there are one driver and passenger for sale on ebay from different sellers.
