idk nissan paint is known to suck how often do you wax polish it? wash? how do you wash it? do you use car wash soap and not that hand soap or laundry or dish soap? also do you use the two bucket method when washing? car wash places are notorious for creating swirls. my mom honda minivan thats 7 year old has very good paint and my acura tsx 2005 has extremely good paint i take care of the paint very well wax once a month polish when needed and wash once every week or two and in the winter time i wax it b4 it snows and everything. but i can tell you honda paint from my experience without any washing, wax polish it holds up a million times better than the nissan paint my firs tmaxima had paint fade all over the hood ****ty clear coat and everything. my mom van only got waxed twice since we owned it polished once and it is swirless and we never wash it maybe twice a year at most and my dads nissan titan truck has hella swirls in it for no reason and my brothers spec-v has ****ty paint the clear was so thin i accidently ate through his top clear with some rubbing compound wtf and i am very good at detailing too and after a full buff with meguiars compound it only got shinier it didnt remove swirls or scratches smh

i use a meguiars wash mix on all my vehicles, i have an 06 explorer that the paint looks great on. so it just baffles me how the 05 maxima it can look so bad on when i take the same care as all my other vehicles. going to try to go over the whole car today with a cleaner wax and see if that makes it any better.

that sucks i guess nissan needs to up their paint game my 03 max paint is pretty good but i can tell it lacks a clear coat which makes it super hard to wax to buff it off even with expensive products not that cheap turtle wax stuff lol

I have an 05' SE where the roof paint is beginning to fail. No amount of wax will help if it's not garaged and bakes in the sun all day. As for grill just plasti dip it!
