I had been putting off buying new tires for months because I just kept thinking I was going to be trading the car off. But every time I wind it out and listen to that Fujita intake I just fall in love again. I previously had some 18" wheels from a 2010 maxima but the longer they were on the more I disliked them. I really love the looks of the 19" wheels on the G37 sports but I didn't want to spend $1200+ on wheels alone and I really didn't want anything bigger than 18" wheels. Well I found some 18" wheels on tirerack that look a lot like the 19" G37 sport wheels and they're only $135 a piece (and have an offset of 35mm so they're more flush with the fenders). I got them along with some general g-max tires in size 255/45/18. The tires are 1/2" taller than the 245/45/18 and I was hoping they'd fill out the wheel wells a little better and possibly ride a little smoother. They don't rub! Anyways here are a couple of pics. Car is lowered on tien springs and kyb shocks/struts.

P.S. I think these are going to clear the big 14" rotors and akebono calipers from a 370z. Hopefully I'll find out this weekend.

No, the tires look normal. Not everyone is in to rubber bands or running a 215/35 on 9.5" wheel

Well, they technically ARE bigger, but yeah, they just look like your everyday passenger vehicle sizes.

Got pretty much the same setup on my 05. Got about 10,000 miles on the g max tires and i have no complaints. They are great in rain or snow and they still have a lot of tread left.
