Speaker-Amp problem!

So when I turn my car on sometimes the speakers just make a popping noise! I have been told it might be the amp but I have no idea where it is. Does anyone know where I can find the amp. I do have the bose system. Thank you so much if you anyone can help!

The amp is inside the trunk under the rear dash to the right and its black but I think your leads could be up too high try turning them down first .

Ok I found it but I'm not sure how you try turning it down? This is what mine looks like.
