Engine harness

Engine harness

hello guys. how hard is it to change an engine harness FOR AN 05 maxima

It be a major PITA do the entire thing. There are many sections, and many of those go into the cab, etc, what exactly is your problem?

I wouldn't suggest you do this if you don't know what you're doing. It's more critical connections than you might think and it could cost you a computer in the process. Let a professional mechanic do it. Oh did I mention it's one of the most costly parts on your car and you will only find it at the stealership?

if you're doing just an engine harness and not the whole under hood harness than its no hard at all. I do these often enough when I swap motors. Shouldn't take you more than 3 hours for the whole job. If you've never worked on your car, don't do it, let a professional do it since its too easy to forget a plug or a ground and chasing it after would be difficult.

I have 3.5 engine harnesses with auto tranny if you need a harness.

i plugs that connect to the fuse box look chewed up

im a diy guy i do almost everything, i had a lot of practice with my 4th gen. do i have to remove any parts for the harness Ex. manifold etc
