Just curious. What is your average speed shown on your dash screen?

Hmmm. So i guess there is something wrong with my 07. Average mph on mine is 8.5 to 10.7 on city. Wonder what the problem could be?

That's fine for city driving. City driving = stop and go. You're in NYC, so it's mostly stop. I think mine is currently at around 11.0 or something. The more that you idle, the lower the average speed, too. If you reset it on the highway and drive for several miles, it would probably read around what jlguru gets. He probably does mostly highway driving and little to no idling. But at the end of the day, does it really matter?
