Transmission flush

2005 Maxima

What is a good shop to do it in Brooklyn, NY? Except the dealership.
How long does it take to have it completed?
What is the cost to have it done?
Anything extra I should look out when doing it?

Thank you guys for all the help.

If u can change ur oil, u can do the flush. All u need is a 10 mm alan key and i would buy 5 qrts of the tranny fluid. I would call different dealerships to get prices on the qrts cuz 1 dealership was cahrging $15.99 and another was cahrging $9.99.

takes 3 bottles per flush. do 3x flush, drive around, all gears, reverse a while, and then flush again.
One month later do another flush.
then a flush a year and you will be fine.
Solved all my transmission issues, no more rough shifting. been 3 years. 180 000km.

I think OP is talking about power flush, no drain and fill method.

I've only heard horror stories about power flushes honestly.

I have a 04 maxima with 80,000 miles that I bought 1 year ago. Every once in a while the transmission seems to jerk a little, mostly when the car is cold but some times it's random. I was thinking of taking it to Aamco transmission in Miami, fl to have the fluid changed. any suggestions?
