G-Force Chip

I have a 6th gen. maxima and just put in a cold air intake and performance cat back exhaust. I was looking at a G-Force chip as well. Wondering if that was a good idea or not?

Good question!

I just purchased a 6th Gen as well,

Wanted to put in a CIA, Cat Back Exhaust, High Flow MAF, and a High Flow Cat, maybe some headers, too. Those are my immediate plans.

Notice much of a dif with the CIA? what kind did you get?

skip the high flow cat and high flow MAF (which I've never heard of). Negligible gains, not worth the money. Unless youve got a clogged OEM cat or something

The MAF (Mass air flow sensor) - "supposedly" an upgraded MAF allows more air into the intake. JET Chips performance makes one - the claim is, "Increases airflow up to 45%; It replaces the vehicles OEM 'restrictive' MAF - which can significantly improve HP, TQ and MPG.

Not sure if anyone has tried this mod or not - but I have in other vehicles - 2004 SVT Focus, 2.0L DOC, the MAF Mod, HP Gain at the wheels went from 162 to 168 and Tq went up from 145 to 153

Other mods were Cat back 2.5" borla exhaust, and AEM CIA.
