Disconnected battery leadsto check engine light ?

Title pretty much sums it up, i had to work with the doors open and electric bits so I disconnected the battery (twice, connected it up to check and took it back off again) and after I put everything back and went for a ride the CEL came on. The car was running find, great idle and everything was normal. I have had the car for almost a year, i do regular maintenance, I just had the oil changed 2 weeks ago. I cant think of anything else that I did that would suddenly cause a CEL...

What part were you working on?
Swing by an autozone and see what code is pulling up.
Also, how long have you had the maxima for?

Clear the code and see if it comes back.

Yes you can do that. The code does not seem to be available (applicable?) for Nissan. It's not in the 2006 ESM for instance.
