Hello evryone i have an 04 maxima and my car at times wont change gear from drive to reverse or park anny suggestions.

 

theres a switch under the brake pedal that senses that the driver is pressing the pedal, that switch de-activates the shift lock which otherwise will not let you go out of park, or from drive to reverse without pressing the brake pedal

sounds like that switch may be bad
