Alright so my 08 maxima has a check engine light on the only code I have is p0448-
- Faulty canister vent control valve
- Purge Control Valve harness is open or shorted
- Purge Control Valve electrical circuit poor connection
I've replaced the canister vent valve that attaches to the canister cleared the code and two days later it's back on with guess what code yep p0448 I know the car calls for premium but have been putting 87 octane in it could this be why and again this is the only code that pops up

did you blow air threw the hose to make sure there was nothing obstructing it (""clogged hose")

 

You put regular gas in it, your car hates you.

 

Yes ik it's the wife's car my Camaro never sees anything but at least 91 didn't really check the hoses guess I should just was thinking maybe because it gets regular gas if that could be why
