So I bought my first car today :p

It's a 2004 Nissan Maxima. I bought it for $4,500 from the owner of a auto shop off of craigslist. Now, the problems are, the driver side window is either off track or the motor is bad and it also needs an alignment. Otherwise she's good! I found out that it has led headlamps when I got home..so that's a plus. Should I plasti dip the rims and the grill? So I bought my first car today :p-00a0a_4ip8dxi6zrk_600x450.jpg

That was a great price and it looks good!

You have to decide for yourself what mods you want to do

On that color I like the stock color of the rims better. I don't know about the grill. You decide.

Whats wrong with that?

Obviously, nothing wrong with plasti dipping exhaust:

Muffler, exhaust tips, whatever, plasti dip FTW!

Sorry, couldn't find a plasti dipped air filter but that is also clearly a good mod.

Do whatever you want to your car it's yours. I personally wouldn't plastidip your rims unless they're discolored and aged like mine were when I dipped them, but they don't look bad. And don't worry about these guys they have nothing better to do clearly.

I'd change the fluids to high quality synthetics before plasti dip though. I've used amsoil but I heard motul is good. Just buy something good and do the trans, power steering, brakes, coolant, etc... Then worry about plasti dip. For example, if you're auto you'll spend over a hundred dollars on fluid alone. Start saving for maintenance.

I agree, although plasti dip is very cheap, the first thing I did when getting mine was change out sparkplugs, fuel filter fuel pump etc.

So update on my car! Thanks for the feedback guys. My bad they are HID's, I got a synthetic oil change, I got my tires rotated, and an alignment. The thing is the car was hit on the right side so hard that they couldn't do the alignment unless I bought a new strut so I got all that taken care of. I also need a new cv boot and a tie rod end for the right side, but otherwise I love my car. One more problem, every time I start my car for the first time for the day it will kind of click for a second after starting it and then it will go away real fast, what is that?
