replaced catalytic converter and engine now have p0420, p0455, p0507

have recently replaced my car with a used engine, and a brand new catlytic converter.

as i was driving down the highway my check engine light came on. and it spits out
p0420 catalytic converter i just had replaced.....
p0455 , evap cannister is leaking or something liek that
and p0507 high rpm at idle

as for the p0420 the code shot up twice so maybe my mechanic didnt reset the code after he replaced my catlytic converter... i dont know.. eitehr way
any information would be nice. and what do you guys suggest me do

p0420 is for a bad o2 sensor. p0507 is for a back cam sensor. Reset the computer and see if they come back.

That's the wrong cat, p0420 bank1 is the pre cat close to the firewall man. Check that along with o2 sensors.

You replaced your CAR with a used engine and brand new cat?

And then what you thought was the catalyst is actually an AC compressor...

Oh my

For real tho I hope you figure it out, especially if you indeed got screwed in such a crazy way.

FML i love my car i dont want to sell it + ive put way too much money in the past 2 years to just throw it out, and its still such a beautiful car. so selling is not an option unless im upgrading which i dont have cash for that.

What was the answer to the P0455 code? I'm getting that along with a P0845 code for my trans.

This is a good inexpensive tool for reading and clearing SES codes. They have them for android, iPhone and laptop use.
