I don't use my car for racing or anything but I want to be able to pretty much stop on the dime due to the stop and go traffic... Is there anything specific I should look for in upgrading them? Pads rotors calipers??

For you, I would recommend the STILLEN big brake kit. It's not as aggressive as the AP Racing kit.
