Hey, I have a 2006 maxima SE and the original tire size is 245/45/18. I was wondering if a tire size of 235/55/18 be able to fit with out any problems such scrubbing when I turn? PLEASE HELP.

 

Will it fit...yes as it is narrower tire, there will be no danger of rubbing. The size difference in size however is outside the recommended tolerances. 235/50/18's would be a better choice.

 

Ok so there wouldn't be a problem with putting them on my maxima and driving? I do understand the recommendations in size but this shop has only the 235/55/18. It just seemed a little taller than the factor size tire.
