Hey all, I have a 2007 Maxima SE with Factory hid. I'm having issues with my headlights. I replaced bulbs, they flickered a little bit and then didn't work anymore. Replaced ballast with no change. Have not replaced the ignitor.

I'm wondering if people have had success using a quality hid retrofit kit in a car that has the factory HIDs.

I don't drive this car much, but I've been several months with no headlights so I can't drive it at all at night. :-)

If you have recommendations for an HID kit for this car, weather in expensive or moderately expensive, let me know!

so old bulbs flickered and new bulbs flickered?
new ballast cause old and new bulbs to flicker as well?
the new ballast you bought did not come with the ignitor portion attached?

in my opinion it is better to fix your oem HID light than go with after market stuff.
