My lost lost the main key fob for his 08 maxima today. We have another one that came with the car when we bought it used. The back up fob isn't working. I replaced the battery and checked that it IS putting out a signal while I was at the auto parts store.
The actual key that's inside the fob will unlock the doors, but the ignition **** won't turn and the red key light comes on. For some reason the car isn't seeing this other fob.
Any suggestions?
