clockspring

I've been searching for the part # for a 2007 Max clockspring with no luck. Does any know the oem part# or better yet an aftermarket source?

Depends on the package on your Max. What's your VIN?

Depends on your package. Does your car have the driver preferred package? I have a good
clock spring for one that have the preferred package with vehicle dymanic control system part # 25560-ZK01C

Yes, I believe so. I have bluetooth with the phone controls on the steering wheel. When you say you have one, does that mean sale? How much?

25560-7Y71D, replaced by 25560-ZK01D.
You don't have the VDC system.

Ok so I want your opinion if you think my problem is the clock spring. Right now, my horn and right side controls for the cruise control work but my left side controls for the audio do not and my bluetooth does not work as well. Do you think this is indeed my clockspring? I think it is because my srs light keeps coming back on after resetting and the audio does not work. So I am assuming that some connections in the clockspring are brohen while some are not? Am I thinking correct?

Yes, I think it's a clockspring issue.

Also, I just realized from reading another thread that my "auto seat move back and steering wheel go up" when exiting the car are not functioning. Is this tied into the clockspring as well?

Nope. That should be the Driving Position Controller Unit: 98800-ZK30A. But check from the display settings that the function is not disabled.

Costee: I do not have Navigation only Driver Preferred package. How do I know if its on of off? The manual only addresses it in the Nav system.

See Section 4 page 13 (4-13) of the owner's manual: Vehicle Electronic Systems.

Costee: again, this is if you have Navigation system. I do not. So how do I make sure it is on?

Mine is a 2006. Maybe someone with a non-nav 2007 would chip in to clarify.

- Insert key in ignition and turn the key to ON position.
- Open and close the drivers door 2-3 times.
- Close door
- Start engine
- Turn engine OFF
- Remove key
- Open door.

The automatic driver position should work now.

If the above doesn't work, try disconnecting the car battery for about 5-10 minutes and reprogram the system memory again.
