Battery brake light is on

Brake light on all time and battery light flashes or stays on. Ive checked voltages. 12.5 on battery off. 14.4 while running. Anything else to check? Runs good have put couple hundred miles on but something gotta be wrong. Any help appreciated. Its 2005 maxima 3.5.

On my 4th gen the battery and brake light on means you have a bad alternator
I assume the same with your generation Maxima

It may be 14.4 while running, but what does it read when you put loads on it while it's idling? Turn on AC, defroster, radio, headlights....everything you can and then see what the voltage is and report back. You have the classic symptoms of a failing alternator.

Ran air rear defrost had wife step on brakes everything on. Meter only ever went to 14.2. Got an alternator coming but still should be able to test

K just dove 60 miles roundtrip stopped oreilys had them test batt alt. Both test good. Lol brake light solid batt still flashing. Think i have wheel speed sensor bad just waiting on my new codereader to check abs system and fix. Could be related to this? Or anyone know of a ground location i may have missed?
