I have a 2005 Maxima SE without GPS. I was hoping to find a GPS unit and install it in mine.

Firstly is this even possible, secondly what equipment will I need to get to make the install work

So a GPS as in Global satellite positioning? Why not just buy a Tom Tom or anyother brand of GPS that u plug into lighter socket? I got a Clarion touchscreen navigation system installed as my 2005 came with a tapedeck. Of course that is more $$ then just getting a GPS for your car but it def has its perks

I am trying to do a factory show car and wanted to install the factory in dash GPS that came as an option for the ‘05.

I’ve reached out to a few threads and groups and no one has yet to offer an absolute yes or no. So I’m probably not going to even attempt it.
