Best ways to improve cornering performance?

Hi guys, I tried searching but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I've been looking to get rid of the boaty/swaying feeling as much as possible while on a lower-end budget. I think what I would want is upgraded sway bars, but I'm not sure where to look or what brands to get. I'm also open to strut bars but I've heard they aren't incredibly noticeable. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

as above, lower it with some reasonable springs or even better shocks too (or coilover kit).
Then get some wider and lower profile tyres n rims on there with some decent rubber.

I did this and I was actually shocked at how well it handled (and looked). I didn't expect such an improvement as they are a pretty soft n boaty car stock.

pics for reference and yeah, I do have to be careful over dips n speed humps now...

Thanks jjman, I guess I'll just have to lower the car lol. I've already got some 19s from a 2014 Max with Pirelli P7s and it made a huge difference. I'll probably upgrade the front sway bar/links to something a bit stiffer.

Your car is a beauty by the way.

Its an Australian 2006 J31. Aus got the CVT that year as well as a bodykit and headlight upgrade on the 04/05 model. Ive had the wing put on too.

As far as the handling goes, id say just put in the lowering springs and go from there (unless the links are getting worn).
Id say you'd be happy with that and the rim/tyre combination you have.
They are a comfy car, you don't want to wreck that as they will never be an extremely agile car being a long FWD car. Keep the balance
