04 bogging down

Hello everyone!

I have an 04 Maxima that will start and idle just fine. However if i push down on the gas it bogs down almost instantly. I noticed if I try to hold it around 2500 rpm, it will hold then drop then hold then drop on its own. I just replaced the egr valve hoping that would help, but it did not.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE:
I ran a diagnostic on it and it showed a cylinder 4 misfire code with other minor codes as well, how would I go about fixing that problem?

Replace #4 coil. Address all codes.

You say its an 04 are you the original owner? if not your car's probably due for a tune up, it'll will cost you an arm and half a leg if you have a trusted mechanic, stealership you better of selling it as is.

Diy is the best way to go about this issues and if you want to change out all plugs, yours would've came with platinum plugs use iridium instead they don't cost that much more the the oe plugs, you could always just change out the 1 plug for cylinder 4 which is a piece of cake middle plug when looking at the motor standing in front of it , I'm say change the plug first as its cheaper $ then replacing the coil $$
