I posted about my previous issues with my transmission before and nothing I could do to figure it out. Quick recap 2007 Nissan Maxima would drive without a problem, the issue was reverse, when i would first turn it on and put in reverse it would take about 2-3 seconds to engage. Once the car was warm the revers would not work at all, the RPM's wouldn't go above 2 and the car wouldn't go back.

well fast forward I ended up getting a used transmission from a crashed maxima from junk yard and had it installed. Now the opposite of the previous transmission happens. Forward doesn't work, it does the same thing, surges and RPM doesn't go past 2k. The car won't go above 10 mph, however reverse works perfectly now. All I've done now is change the TCM in case that would help. Also, i know i ran a risk with the used transmission but it was a risk.

Any suggestions before i give up on the car and part it out to make up some money.
