On the street it has its own style! I take back any comment I made about the Camry tail lights. It almost looks like the M45. Hope they offer a more variety of colors this time. Someone should start a "color option" poll thread......

I thought it looked mean (or aggressive) from the front (which I do like). Now with the led lit up and the exhaust pipes set back in the bumper the back also has some mean attributes (serpent like).

This car looks even better on the street in comparison to a turnable in the autoshow.

"fierce!" - I agree with that.

kinda got me thinking what the 3rd brake light is gonna look like, and will it be on top near the roof or at the bottom, I knew this was gonna happen and now I want one

This car will be a hit for Nissan, and bring a lot of newcomers into the Maxima fold. The more I see it the more I can't see any other outcome for the 7G. It's more unique than a lot of people's initial reactions indicated, very attractive and certainly looks more expensive than it will be.

STARR - The high-mounted brake light will be on the shelf (just as previous gens) for Maximas leaving the factory without a spoiler (the spoiler contains the high-mounted brake lights).

The high-mounted brake light on the 7th gen shelf looks to be not as wide as the one on the 6th gen, and at first glance, appears to be a row of LEDs. The spoiler lights also appear to be LEDs.

When I first saw pics of the 7th gen, I did not like the small tab lights sticking out from the bottom rear of the headlight assemblies. After looking at them for a few weeks, I have decided those tabs are one of the things that make this car so aggressive in appearance when viewed from a front angle, and now like them.

I agree with others here that this car will sell. Especially after the car mags test it and rave over the handling. I think the handling and aggressive front appearance will be the two biggest draws for the 7th gen.

I agree 100%, this aggressive design approach will set it apart from anything else out there, which tends to bring out the haters but hey Nissan needed to take a risk and /i think it will payoff in the long run!!

the more I look at this car the more I like it. The photos Nissan first released didn't do this car justice.

Looking forward to the commercial.

I still can't seem to find an appreciation for the front of the 09 Max. 4th gen front looks more 4dsc than this...

I think the design of the grill doesn't flow well with the headlight shape. Perhaps a arrow-like pattern pointing toward the badge will help make the headlight more sculptous.

Will someone photo-shop my suggestion of the grill?

Was it a focus group survey? Or were you an art director at an agency?

Car looks even more amazing in those pictures than before. I must say I will be test driving one of these bad boys as soon as the dealership gets some in. The white color looks very nice. I will have to do something about the grill but that is not a big problem, a black mesh would look amazing.

The one thing that stands out to me in these pictures vs. the others is the blacked out roof. Seeing these pictures, it almost make the car appear "next class up" if that makes sense. Definitely would black out the roof if/when I purchase.

^^^Teksurv Looks to me like that is the panoramic roof. I must agree it does look very sexy blacked out and on a white color car. I want to see one of these driving around NY to see how it looks on the streets while being driven.

wow, I like the look of the maxima in these pictures more than previous ones I have seen. Since I can't afford one new, I will wait a couple of years for it to depreciate in value and buy a used one.

I've never liked a white car until I just saw those pics. Completely changes the way I think of the car.
