Smile Grille for 09 Max

Does anyone know if a Billet Grille or any other Grille is ready for the 09 Maxima? I have not been able to locate one. I would like a Bar Grille with no logo on it. Thanks.

Good luck. I doubt any companies make one yet. The 09s have only been in dealerships for 6 weeks or so.

I agree with what sicivic89 sez.

I don't begin looking for mods for a completely redesigned car until about five or six months after they go on sale. Some mod things will take longer than that. For our Maximas, which are not a high-volume vehicle since being moved 'upscale', we could have trouble finding many things. We noticed that with the 6th gen.

The good thing is that, as soon as an 'ORGer' finds a mod available, they let us know here.

Just a quick update I called around and found out that Billet Grille's is making one now for the 09 max. (It's a Bar type no logo) which I want! I called and talked to a person (Charlie) and he said it's in production and will be ready in about 2 weeks for shipping. I don't know if this is right or wrong but here is the website. Admin, If I am wrong than take it off this post. http://www.billet-grilles.com/?gclid...FQllsgodtj66qQ

What about the 09 head lights??? I really like the design. I have not seen another car with anything like it.

Like the good doctor (aka Eric), I have grown to love these aggressive, even mean headlights.

When I saw the first photos of this car in March, I looked at that little lower trailing headlight tab and thought the assembly plant robots had gotten drunk. But when I looked at the '09s at the Smyrna assembly plant two weeks later, I noticed only the overall purely muscular athletic look. I later realized I didn't even notice that tab. I've since seen this car many times in every color, and never notice that tab unless I make it a point to look for it. In fact, I think it subconsciously adds to the 'liquid flow' and athletic appearance of this car.

At any rate, at this point, I would not give up that little trailing headlight tab. I guess the secret is to look at the car as an overall design composition, and not concentrate too sharply on any one detail.

This grill looks interesting, but I prefer the OEM one. I guess if someone REALLY wants to have a different look, and has $590 to burn . . .

Grill is nt nice. Makes the car look wierd. It looks like it was born on an island exposed to years of radioactive waste, looks like a mutated malibu.

i like the headlights way better then the 04-06 maxima those just made the car looked bad. glad they fixed that when the 07's came out. the maxima finally have some orginallity and everyone wants to hate. but everybody got to admit the 04-06 has to be the worst. mom's have a 04 and i think that front end was the worst nissan ever did with a front end treatment with the maxima made the car look very soft and rentable.

Stillen has a Mesh grille available at http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...N&model=MAXIMA

Personnaly, I want a simple Bar Grille like the OEM one with out the Nissan Emblem.

BTW: What about Rims. Is anyone selling 19" after market Rims for the 09 Maxima.

Does anyone know the stock OEM rim OffSet?

Hey guys, I have a Comp gray, w Frost Int. My dash is piano key CF, I have seen the darker one, but didn't find it on the window sticker. I am sure it has to do with interior colors, as the black one was w the black or charcoal interior.

that much for a grille ??? I got a similar grille insert for my 3rd gen for alot cheaper. I think the size of the grille opening would make grilles like that look " funny" Notice how the older Max`s look better w/ custom grilles cuz the openings are smaller. The nose of the new Max looks to "squared off" for custom grilles. Mayby if the borders of the grille were body color instead of chrome anthe mesh was black it would look nicer.

There's one listed for about $300 on EBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-...spagenameZWD1V I've seen them in person on one of the 09's at Corona Nissan and the dealer charged an 'add-on' fee of $749.95, just thought I'd mention that...they look great though and the picture in the auction does no justice.

PS- I <3 The '09 and would buy one if it was AWD/RWD...Have fun!

I got my 08 stainless steel mesh grille & lower valance from this company. I believe this is www.egclassic.com 's sister company. E & G doesn't have it out yet, but it's coming. Their prices are very fair and way less than the $500 or so quoted earlier in the thread and a MUCH better quality product.
