If you want the trunk mat, obviously that's extra. I bought my set through autogeek.net, which sometimes has coupons and free shipping. Search around and you may find better deals.
Max
$159 + $28? shipping. If I get 5 years out of them, its well worth it. Had everything possible. These are the best fitting ever. Just gotta do the due diligence and make sure the underside stays dry.
Factory mats worked for me and they contrast very well with the interior. Can't beat the price @ $79-

I have the Digital Liner weather tech, they are awesome, definitely worth it. Fit perfect and will keep the carpet in perfect shape as none of it is visible. I am ordering the trunk liner next week. Might be a little costly but in my opinion with every penny.
Go with the WeatherTechs. I have them in my '08 Pathfinder where they take a bit of a beating and will be getting them soon for the new Maxima. They fit perfectly, and if they start getting a little grubby, just take them out and hose them off. I use a stiff bristle floor brush with a little detergent if they are really bad. They use a lot of road salt where I live so they are a necessity. But as mentioned, it is a good idea to take them out once every so often in case condensation has formed under them or some water has got by them. Let the carpets dry out a bit. They are what you need.
I think I'm pretty much sold on these as well. I really wish they'd have had the foresight to add a couple of extra inches to the driver's side left foot rest area. It looks like resting your left foot there would get a half-half mix of floor mat and carpet.
I already cut my own inside mats with some really nice outdoor carpet.
But I did just order the Weathertech Trunk mat from Autogeek.net for $109.99
Weathertech's price was $119.95.
In the Autoegeek.net checkout if you use the coupon code of "ago" you get free shipping on orders over $95.
So I saved an additional cost of $18 in shipping to my location.
So based on the Weathertech price, in total I saved $28.
it has been a good day.

you're right and it does.
Going back to the weathertech digital fit mats ... they look like they fit perfectly and would take a 2L bottle of soda and still protect the carpets. I'm close to ordering them (and my maxima isn't even here yet) ...
is there more feedback on these products? looks like it's all positive.

They should fit fine, as long as they are the "Digital Fit" liners. I have the trunk liner and it fits great.
I got it, because last year when we went to a family reunion, my wife put a bowl of beans in back of the SUV. The lip on the bowl was loose, and needless to say, it was smelly trip all the way there and back. When we got back I stripped out the back carpet, and trim panels to get the mess out of that car. At the time all I had back there was some towels, and a leftover carpet piece when we carpeted the house. Luckly it caught most of it, but it still went down into the nether regions of the car. But again I got it cleaned out pretty good.
So a few weeks back I thought I will get one for the max, since it's a new car, and I could warrant some "minor" accessories for it.

First thing added to the new max and mur were the all-weather mats. Dealer "threw them in" on both cars but but I would have paid for them regardless.
Leave them in all year round. I seem to like to drag things around on my shoes...

Are you seriously considering $300 rubber floor mats for your car? Cost me less to carpet my bedroom! Unless you are routinely driving in snow, I think this is a bad investment. In addition, this is something you can never use in another car.
IMO i do not like the look of rubber floor mats, esp in my 35K maxima.

The weather tech mats are the best...a friend of mine swears by them, however...

A family member got the digital fit mats, and I put them in. They are more like a hard plastic than rubber. Socks / coins would slide on them, where with rubber they would stick. They are somewhat flexible, however.
I bought some clear (not the smelly ones) mats that were like $20.00! I just put them right on tip of the regular mats. I've done this in all my cars that have light interior. At least with the Maxima, you can thread holes in the plastic mats and place them in the grommets that are there for the factory mats and they stay pretty good ...
WOW $3oo for floor mats is crazyyyyy. I went to auto zone and bought a set of balck heavy rubber all weather mats and a set of cheap black carpeted mats. Total was $50. This way if some snow or water runs pff the rubber mats and gets on the carpeted mats i am not ruining my nice nissan carpet mats. I just switch em out for winter/summer. Heck, i can do this every year for 6 years for $300.
I would rather spend the monet on nice mod such as exhaust, intake etc.. JMHO.
