Rear Lighting Modifications?

Has anyone changed out the amber bulbs with the chrome or LED's to get rid of the yolk look of the bulb?

Also has anyone done LED's for the license plate bulbs? Which ones did you use? Are they bright?

Thanks guys!

The first question was regarding the turn signals, not anything to do with the interior...

but thanks for the help?

the self-install for the interior LEDs will tell you how to do the License plate lights. If you look under the "Fog Lights" thread, there is a you tube video of a 09 from PA with amber LEDs on the turn signals, but nothing as on a how to, or what kind, but its a light bulb... plug and play. look on V-LEDs.com and you should be able to search for the turn signals. the license plate bulbs are V-LEDS Part ID: 194_5_HPT_W. i am trying to contact the youtube guy and find out what size his turn signal leds are. when i know ill post it for you.

no, it is all housed inside your trunk. just pull back the side molding in the trunk to gain access.

yes, i 've just done it now! it's really really simple. inside trunk cover need to be taken out. this is done by taking little black *****(?) out first, with flat driver, just poke it out. i didn't know how to take off trunk pull lever thing, it didn't bother me to gain enough access to bulbs, so i worked with it. my explanation is pretty bad, but once you start looking at trunk, you will figure it out yourself quickly. it's not hard, trust me. any question regarding plate cover light, msg me. thank you.
