I can't seem to figure out how to fast forward "within a chapter" on MP3 CDs. Track to Track and First to Last seem to work without issue, but no FF or FR within a track.

Any hints are appreciated!! RTFM didn't specify anything for MP3 CDs.

usually u jsut hold the button and it should do it, have u tried that?? possible jsut might not be able too.....my friends mazda cant do it either......mp3 fail! lol

 

Press and Hold the the |<< SEEK/CAT or TRACK >>|.

 

He is absolutely correct....do mine all the time, you can even fast forward or rewind your IPOD that's connected using the same option!

Guess I was a bit tenative in my "button pushing." I swapped to a different MP3 CD and found the FF/FR working well. Just for grins I tried the IPOD and Compact Flash and it worked well on them too. Still can't get it to work on the one MP3/CD but all others work fine.
