Factory HID Conversion

Has anyone looked at installing the factory HID? I wonder how much effort/labor it would take?

I think what is being asked is if weather or not buying the factory HID Headlights or the assembly will be easy.

If that is the case i would have to say no. Both factory and Halogen use different connectors. I believe the HID is DS2 or something like that and the Halogen has a H11 Harness. Your best bet is to just but an HID Conversion Kit and swap out your Stock bulb with an HID Kit (Ballast and Bulb)

Wasn't there another thread about someone swapping their factory projectors with TSX HID projectors?

I would purchase everything.... HID conversions are horrible been there done that garbage before. Swapping bulbs and adding a ballast doesn't set the proper placement and you end up either blinding people or lighting up snake holes.

This company I've heard great things about on other forums, you send in your headlights and they completely retrofit them PROPERLY and you can even send in your own HID pieces, etc or they can do it all for you. Plus you can have do angel eyes and bi-xenons if you really want to go nuts.

It's all expensive and a lot of work I figured proably for the same expense or lower I can purchase all the factory pieces from courtesy Nissan on the Internet and then have my local dealer install I think the labor is just 2.2 hours... Maybe if I stop being so lazy I'll do it myself.
