The wide, open grille of this '09 sort of hinted of Italian styling in my mind from day one. And I have always loved Maserati styling. Great photoshop. And those red Maserati brake calipers grab me.

Exactly the samething i thought when i saw the front... i said to myself, "this thing looks the Maserati somewhat..."

This thing would fool a lot of people .. i have people drive up to my car fast because they don't know what it is all the time .. today a Chrysler 300C zoomed right up to my bumper then went to the side and backed off...

I have enjoyed driving way out in the sticks on a fairly deserted interstate (I-20 between Madison GA and Thomson GA is one such stretch), have cars flying up from behind, doing 85 or 90 MPH on their way from Atlanta to Augusta, and watch them pull out to sail by me (I'm only doing 75 MPH). They disappear from the inside rear view mirror, and don't appear to my left. I glance at the outside mirror, and they have slowed to my speed, and are looking straight at my car.

I try to look blase, but it is all I can do to keep from smiling.

Italian /= Japanese

Maserati /= Maxima

Get a Maxima badge in the same script font.

I think a V12 would be a sweet engine for the new Maxima. I'm sure someone will do it....eventually.

Oh, Nissan will do it. It will be a FWD car with CVT standard, but the 7-spd transmission will be available only in the performance package that adds navigation, 11nty billion speaker package, the first aid kit, TPS, and blinker fluid monitoring system for $8,900. If you try to add the sport wheel package, you have to remove manual transmission because that only comes with the blinker fluid monitoring system.

FTR: This thread did NOT deliver. Don't place MOD in the title unless the word "possible" or facsimile precedes if no actually modding exists as you only get one's hopes up.

That wouldn't be too hard to do either, since it's a small circular emblem Hey Black Carbon fiber in there also just like the Max

we're getting better!

All i'm say'n is that i can def. see that the NURBS modelers who designed the 09 MAX were influenced by the Italian car
or so it seems...

I really like the exhaust tips and the dark rear defuser.... I thought about picking up a batman overlay for my rear defuser, but I purchased tail light overlays from him back when I had my 2003 max and the install was crap and I could never get it installed right so I don't want to run the risk of the same thing again... Anyone have experience with his rear defuser product?

on topic, the wheels look good and so does the exhaust, but the badge is just ghey.
