So my dad is in the market and exhaust note is on top of his list. So being a Maxima fan, I researched about the 7th Gen and saw that its exhaust is supposed to be sporty sounding and "performance-oriented". Is that sound similar to the Maxima's stock exhaust?

 

My stock exhaust did not sound that bad

 

The exhaust sounds nothing like that. If you go to a dealer they would probably let you rev up the engine to hear the exhaust, and then you mine as well just test drive it too.

It sounds much better then the exhaust in that video, its has a deeper "performance" sound to it. There is none of that tin can echo/vibration noise.

 

The Maximas exhaust sounds way way way better than the altima coupes. There is no comparison between the two.

 

It has a really nice tone to it...u dont even need to go aftermarket.

 

Maxima sounds much better id proly only change the tips i hate them they look tacky

 

The tips are one of the best features for me. Its just a shame that isn't the pipe coming off of the muffler like the G35's

 

i want to purchase new tips ones with a little more shine . does anyone know where i cud get a set?

 

yup i agree wit u but i would really like sum rolled edge tips on my mine i think they would look much better
