Delicious... I totally agree with you about the chrome. Function and form should go hand in hand. 18/19 inch Volks? Yes please...

Next on my list was pushing out the rear wheels just a little so installed H & R's 5mm spacers, no need to put in bigger studs. Then I replaced the chrome lug nuts with Nismo 34mm LugNuts, and replaced the Plastic air valve stem with Nismo Valve Stem. Next I wanted to get rid of the awful Chrome and give this car a sporty look. So we painted the door handles black and the push botton Silver Grey, the trimming on the front bumper grille recieved black replacing any chrome, the window lining recieved also a SilverGrey color, the rear and front emblems also recieved Silver Grey and as well as the chrome piece under the rear emblem. Next we installed Stillens front lip and rear upper wing. Last thing was getting the Rear taillights painted to give it that smoked look. Next thing on the list is Eibach springs, which hopefull will be in by the end of this week or early next week (Cmon Josh tell those people to get those springs rolling already). So thats it for now here are some pics, any compliments or negative remarks are welcomed. Not all of us have the same taste, so I don't expect all of you to like what I did. I know most of you are into the 22's and the chrome, just not my style.

Car is amazing. I love it anyway, I wanted to give my rear wheels a little extra width. How much were the spacers and are they hard to install? Can any tire shop do it?

Thanks bro. By the way i just had my taillights painted and it looks sick. How come you did all that blacking out but did not do the entire housing on the tailights? What made you leave the white part unpainted?

very nice job. imagine all the lidar guns taking aim at your huge chrome grill !
you may want to think about painting the logo black as well.
makes you speculate manuafacturers are in on this sort of thing with govt and insurance companies. :-)

the logo is painted dark grey to match the color scheme on the car. There is no chrome left on the car itself.

Just sick. Thanks for changing my view on the latest Max. I can't stand the new headlight design but I don't even care anymore after I saw your ride.

Good job bro and more inspiration for my 4th gen project.

+1

Or even get some type of tint film to put over the headlights if yo don't want to paint the inside. Just to get rid of that bright surface on a dark car.

photoshop request

Hi there, i was thinking about getting the chrome around the window painted black, so i was wondering if someone could photoshop the side image picture of the car, with the window sill chrome in black and the door handles in chrome?

Thanks in advance.

Everything about your car is hot. My head would be on a swivel if you drove within a hundred yards.

I realize this is a pretty lame question, but I'm coming over from www.thenewx.org having traded my Xterra for a Gen 7 Maxima and am curious how you chose to black-out your grille. Did you remove the chrome slats or simple paint over them with something? What was the process?

Thanks Bro!

Hey MaxDOuT, what you think about the fact that all the maximas come with two toned interiors. They dont have any all black interriors.... I hate that!!!

I think it looks great man, I have been wanting to do something similar to mine, just have to find some time to part with it and get it into the body shop!
