adding a spoiler to the S

It has been a while since I have been here. I sold my Maxima a couple years ago.

But anyway, my mom is about to buy 2009 S. She really wants a spoiler, but does not want to pay for an SV with all kinds of features that she will never use.

Has anyone added a spoiler themselves? If so what is involved? I can see the dealer easily charging $1000 to install one, when I can see on Nissan's website that the spoiler is a little over $300.

Thanks guys.

One other thing; Is DaveB still the guy to talk to about getting parts?

I'm on a Mac running Firefox... Anyhow the spoiler is inexpensive even if you get the dealer to install one. Also ebay has some listed that are already painted for you.

You obviously didn't read the link to the other thread. Others have used the dealer and the spoiler, labor, etc came out to no more than $300.00 TOTAL. That my son is not a raping.
